DURATION OF THE PROJECT: September 2025 – June 2026

SHORT DESCRIPTIONYoung Travellers invites students from different countries to embark on a virtual journey across Europe and beyond. Through monthly presentations, games, songs, and collaborative activities, pupils will explore the rich diversity of languages, alphabets, traditions, and cultural heritage of partner countries. Alongside discovering national symbols and customs, they will also work together to celebrate international days such as the European Day of Languages or Christmas.

The project highlights the beauty of linguistic and cultural diversity, while fostering friendships, respect, and cooperation among young learners.

AIMS:

-  Use English in real and meaningful contexts.

-  Develop the four main language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

-  Discover and appreciate the linguistic and cultural diversity of partner countries.

-  Learn basic elements of partner languages (alphabets, greetings, numbers).

-  Strengthen digital skills through collaborative online tools and platforms.

-  Promote values such as respect, tolerance, solidarity, and active citizenship.

-  Encourage intercultural friendships and cooperative learning.

-  Increase awareness of shared European and global identity.
