Beyond Borders

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: September 2021 – June 2022
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
The main objective of the project is to allow pupils from different countries to interact and collaborate with each other using English as language of communication in real and meaningful contexts.
Pupils will have the opportunity
to get to know new friends and have a pen pal. On the other hand, based on each school's curriculum, pupils will work
on different topics to develop
language skills, collaborative work and other essential skills and values.
AIMS:
- Use
the English Language in real and meaningful contexts;
- Get
to know friends from other countries;
- Have
a pen pal;
- Develop
language skills (writing, speaking, listening and reading);
- Develop
social skills;
- Promote
collaborative work and values (respect, friendship, responsibility, tolerance,
etc.);
- Foster
the awareness of a European identity;
- Share
cultural experiences, customs and traditions;
- Promote
digital literacy to access knowledge in context;
- Bolster student’s motivation in the teaching and learning process.
