CERIMÓNIA DE ENTREGA DE PRÉMIOS ETWINNING 2021

O Projeto "Building Bridges of Friendship" recebeu o "Prémio Nacional eTwinning 2021" na categoria "Primeiro Ciclo". A cerimónia de entrega de prémios decorreu no dia 10 de dezembro, em Lisboa, com a presença do Agrupamento de Escolas de Penalva do Castelo que se fez representar pela professora dinamizadora do projeto e pela Diretora. É de referir a colaboração do Município de Penalva do Castelo que contribuiu com produtos endógenos da região, assim como material referente à divulgação do património natural e cultural do concelho.

Parabéns a todos os alunos e professores pelo trabalho desenvolvido e sucessos alcançados!!!

A cerimónia de entrega de prémios irá decorrer no dia 10 de dezembro em Lisboa. Parabéns a TODOS os alunos e professores pelo trabalho desenvolvido e os sucessos alcançados!!!

TITLE OF THE PROJECT: Building Bridges of Friendship (EFL, 1^st year)

PUPILS: From 8 to 9

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: September 2020 – June 2021

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

The main objective of the project is to allow students from different countries to make friends using the English Language as a language of communication. The main focus is that they develop communication and social skills, promoting collaborative work and values such as respect and friendship, as well as digital literacy.

Students will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and meet friends from different countries, talk and write about different topics: family, pets, school, friendship, summer holidays, likes and dislikes, festivities, cultural experiences, etc.  Throughout the project, students will use different means of communication: letter, email, video, presentation, forum, live meeting/video conference, etc.

The project aims at broadening students’ insights and fostering the use the English Language in a real and meaningful context using digital literacy.

AIMS:

-  Make friends around Europe;

-  Foster the awareness of a European identity;

-  Develop communication and social skills;

-  Use the English Language in a real and meaningful context;

-  Foster naturalistic language acquisition;

-  Promote collaborative work and values (respect, friendship, responsibility, tolerance, etc.);

-  Promote digital literacy to access knowledge in context;

-  Share cultural experiences, customs and traditions;

-  Bolster student’s motivation in the teaching and learning process.
